About the assessment

Q1. Is this a medical diagnosis?

No. TCMask provides wellness insights and educational guidance based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. It is not a medical diagnosis, and it does not replace care from a qualified healthcare provider.​ If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor.

Q2. How long does the assessment take to complete?

About 3 minutes. It’s a short, guided check-in — no account needed, and you can pause any time.

Q3. Do I need to know anything about Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Not at all. The questions are in plain English, and your report explains everything in everyday language.

Q4. What kind of questions will I be asked?

About your sleep, energy, digestion, daily habits and how you handle stress and the seasons. Nothing clinical, nothing invasive.

Q5. Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Your answers are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only our practitioners can read them. See our Privacy Policy.

Q6. Can I take the assessment more than once?

Yes — you’re welcome to come back. Many people retake it after a season has turned, or after following their action plan for a while.

Free vs Premium

Q7. What do I get for free?

Right after you finish, you’ll receive a free snapshot​ — a gentle first read of your constitution and one or two small shifts worth trying. It’s a starting point, not the whole picture.

Q8. What’s the difference between the free snapshot and the $29 report?

The free snapshot is a quick overview. The Premium report is read word for word by our practitioners​ — it goes much deeper, with a full constitution profile, seasonal guidance, a 7-day reset and handwritten notes.

Q9. Are both the free and Premium assessments read by a real practitioner?

Yes.​ Every submission is read by a real practitioner — never by a bot or a template. Dr. Wang personally oversees the way we read every person, and your answers are treated with the same care.

Q10. Why would I pay $29 instead of using a free wellness app?

Because no app will actually read your answers and write back to you. Your $29 report is read by hand, by practitioners with decades of experience — not generated by an algorithm.

Dr. Wang is the practitioner whose 40-year practice inspired TCMask. He shaped how we read a person, and personally oversees the way we read every person who comes to us.

Q13. Where are you based and who do you serve?

We’re a small team based in China, serving people around the world online. Everything is delivered by email — no clinic visit needed.

Q14. Why do you only take 10 cases a day?

To keep the quality high.​ Every report is read and written by hand, so we intentionally limit how many we take each day. Ten cases a day, never more — it’s how we choose to work.

Privacy & safety

Q15. What data do you collect?

Only what you choose to share in the assessment (your wellness answers and email address) and the minimum technical data needed to run the site. We do not sell your data, ever.

Q16. Is my health information shared with anyone?

Only with the practitioners who prepare your report, and our payment provider for billing. We never share or sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

Q17. How is my data stored and for how long?

Your answers are encrypted in transit and at rest. Reports are stored securely and automatically deleted after 60 days​ — unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Q18. Can I ask you to delete my data?

Of course. Just email [email protected]​ and we’ll remove your information right away.

Payment, refunds & delivery

Q19. How much does the Premium report cost?

$29 USD, one time. No subscription, no hidden fees.

Q20. Is the $29 payment recurring?

No.​ It’s a single, one-time purchase. You won’t be charged again.

Q21. How long does it take to receive my report?

A Premium report is prepared by hand, so please allow up to 48 hours. The free snapshot arrives within 24 hours.

Q22. What if I change my mind — can I get a refund?

Because a Premium report is a personalized product prepared by hand, it begins processing as soon as your order is placed. If you haven’t yet received it, you may request a full refund within 24 hours​ of purchase. Once delivered, it is non-refundable​ — this protects the time invested in preparing it. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll make it right.

By email, as a written report you can read on any device.

No account needed. Just take the free check-in and we’ll email you your results.

Q25. Can I remain anonymous?

You’re welcome to use a name you’re comfortable with — we only need a way to reach you by email.

Q26. Do you offer follow-up support after the report?

Yes.​ You can email us one follow-up question within 14 days​ of receiving your report — on the house.
