Dr. Wang — a lifetime of listening
With over three decades of practice, Dr. Wang was raised in a family of herbalists and trained in both classical TCM texts and modern clinical settings.
He believes wellness begins with a simple, honest question — How have you been lately? — and that the best guidance is gentle, personal, and never one-size-fits-all.

About Dr. Wang
My father, Dr. Wang, has devoted his entire life to Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).
After more than forty years of practice, he officially retired from a TCM hospital, was later invited back for another five years, and finally hung up his white coat for good last year. Yet he has never been the type of person who can sit still. His days are filled with morning Tai Chi, calligraphy, old medical books, and evening chess games with friends. Still, I always felt there was something he could never quite let go of.
One day, he set down his teacup and asked me:
“I want to bring Traditional Chinese Medicine to more people. Do you have any ideas?”
Without thinking much, I replied, “What about helping people overseas? Although we’re not even sure whether TCM works the same way for them.”
His eyes lit up immediately.
It was the kind of spark you only see in someone who has spent a lifetime caring for patients. Suddenly, it felt as though he had been given a chance to step back into the arena he loved. Smiling, he said, “That’s a wonderful idea. We could also share our traditional culture with more people.”
So I started learning as I went—writing code, building webpages, and slowly putting together what eventually became TCMask.
Along the way, I realized something important: he wasn’t struggling with retirement. He simply couldn’t walk away from the craft he had dedicated his life to.
When treating patients, my father never believed in a one-size-fits-all approach.
He always begins with a simple question:
“How have you been lately?”
Are you sleeping well? How is your appetite? Have you been feeling tired? How does your body respond to changes in the seasons?
To him, a person is never just a collection of symptoms to be fixed. Health is about understanding the whole person. Only by understanding someone’s daily life, habits, and physical condition can you truly understand their well-being.
That’s why his recommendations are always gentle and practical—small adjustments that fit naturally into your life and can be sustained over time.
This philosophy is at the heart of TCMask.
He reviews only ten reports per day and never takes on more.
As he often says, “I’d rather carefully understand ten people than rush through a hundred.”
Every questionnaire is read personally. Every report receives his attention. He does his best to provide feedback within two days.
The results may not be flashy, but they are thoughtful, honest, and written only after careful consideration.
So when you submit your questionnaire, please give him a little time.
Because on the other side of the screen, there is a real person opening it.
He puts on his reading glasses and reads through your responses line by line.
Your sleep, your fatigue, your stress, and the discomfort that comes with changing seasons are all considered with genuine care.
This is not artificial intelligence.
It is not an automated template.
It is a physician with more than forty years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, dedicating his time and knowledge to thoughtfully respond to each individual.
TCMask is not perfect.
It is small. It is slow.
But it is real.
At its core is a lifetime of dedication from a father—and a sincere desire to share that care with you.
If you’re willing to slow down, just once, and hand yourself back to yourself —
then let’s begin with this small report.
